Hiring the Right Plants for Your Events

Quick tips on making the right plant selection when hiring plants for your events.

Wish list – Create a wish list of what you want to achieve and make sure your plant hire company fully understands what you want to achieve. If you don't know what you want, don't worry get on the phone and discuss matters.

Size and scale of the plants – Hiring plants of the correct size in proportion to the venue is essential. Too small and the plants disappear, too large and the plants can cause access and visual problems.

Take pictures of the venue – It makes it much easier to discuss ideas for your event with your plant hire company. Tip. If we cannot visit a venue, beforehand we like images taken from all sides, with an idea of scale, e.g. ceiling height is 10 Metres, the door is 4.5 Metres wide, the tables seat 12 each…

Discuss hiring alternative plants – Any good plant hire company understands when hiring plants that not everyone shares the same tastes. Advice is free and they should be able to suggest alternatives.
