There are a huge variety of Palm Trees, which exist throughout a vast array of habitats. In the UK we instantly think of beaches and jungles. Palm trees also exist in deserts, rainforests, tropical and sub tropical regions and are becoming increasingly popular to use in UK for events. Palm are plants with unbranched trunks & large, evergreen pinnate or palmate leaves.
As a plant in our hire stock we have increased the selection of Palm Trees to include the following. The Chinese Fan Palm is probably the best known Palm in the UK and the largest Palm Tree that we supply. The Canary Island Fan Palm is quite rare in the UK and popular due to its stunning leaf formation (only recommended for sheltered spots, not fully frost hardy and susceptible to wind damage). The Kentia Palm is over used in interior landscaping and so not often considered but placed in the right space is a beautiful plant. Finally the Jelly Palm an extremely rare plant in the UK and difficult to get hold of mature specimens.
